Why Zentro exists

Walk into any pharma distributor's office or busy chemist shop in India and you'll find the same thing: a business moving lakhs of rupees of stock a day, run on software that fights its operator. Cryptic menus. Add-on invoices for every feature. Data sitting unencrypted on a hard drive, or locked behind someone else's cloud login.

The people running these counters are not casual users — they are some of the fastest, most demanding operators of business software anywhere. They deserve engineering that takes them seriously.

So we built Zentro the way enterprise systems are built — audit-grade data integrity, encryption by default, schema discipline that survives years of upgrades — and shaped it around the realities of Indian trade: GST filing from the billing screen, batch and expiry as first-class citizens, WhatsApp as a delivery channel, and billing that never waits for the internet.

One product, transparent pricing, everything included. That's not a pricing strategy; it's a statement about respect for the customer.

15 years in enterprise software Career built at SAP Domain: ERP & business systems

Hemant has spent his entire 15-year career at SAP — the company whose ERP systems run the majority of the world's largest corporations, where an enormous share of global commerce touches the software he and his colleagues build.

That is a very particular school of engineering. At that scale, ledgers must balance to the last paisa. An auditor must be able to reconstruct any figure, years later. Schemas must survive decades of upgrades without losing a byte of history. And "the system was down" is never an acceptable sentence.

"Fortune 500 companies get software engineered to never lose a rupee. The chemist who keeps a neighbourhood's medicines in stock deserves exactly the same." — Hemant Mangal, Co-founder

Zentro is that standard, applied to the counter. It shows up in decisions most software never talks about:

  • Audit-grade integrity — every transaction traceable, every deletion tracked, nothing silently lost
  • Encrypted by default — AES-256 on every byte at rest, because your books are your business
  • Schema discipline — updates that carry your full history forward, release after release
  • Compliance as core engineering — GST filing, e-invoicing and e-way bill built into the product's foundations, not bolted on

What we believe

Four principles we won't trade away.

Principle 01

Your data is yours

It lives on your disk, encrypted, exportable, and readable by you — whatever happens to us or to your internet connection.

Principle 02

Speed is respect

Every second an operator waits at the counter is a queue growing. Keyboard-first design isn't nostalgia — it's economics.

Principle 03

Compliance is core

GST, e-invoicing, e-way bill, TCS — tax work belongs inside the product, done where the bills already are.

Principle 04

Transparent pricing

No hidden modules, no add-on invoices. Every plan includes the whole product — pick the plan that fits your counter today.

Talk to the people who build it.

No sales scripts — a demo with the team, on your own data if you bring a backup. Ask the hard questions.
